CRC Typhoon Haiyan Emergency Field Hospital Experience
We’ve just completed a fascinating and profoundly emotional project for the Canadian Red Cross about the experience Canadian delegates underwent during their deployment to the Philippines following disaster like typhoon Haiyan. CRC deployed an emergency field hospital in the city of Ormoc, and helped thousands of patients, delivered 418 babies, and trained Philippine Red Cross staff and volunteers in how to deploy and operate the field hospital, which was left behind as a legacy. This video draws on the humanitarian core, about relationship-building, and the day-to-day experience from both the Filipino and Canadian perspectives.
