CRA YouTube Underground Economy Campaign - ENG

The Agency needed to find a way to get Canadians talking about the downside of the underground economy, and knew that alternative and social media presented an opportunity. We developed a high-energy “how-to” video designed to promote contest entries in the CRA’s Underground Economy video competition. The video was designed to attract participants by explaining the rules with an upbeat, out-of-the-box attitude.

CRA Recruiting “Booth” Video

Knowing that we needed to dispense with audio as a communications medium due to the crowd noise in public settings, HyperActive produced a video that reinforces key advantages of working for the CRA using stills animated on different motion planes along with creative typography. The result draws in visitors and still makes key points even for those at a physical distance from the booth.

Tenth Anniversary Reflections

HyperActive turned a large, cumbersome PowerPoint show into an elegant short video using animated stills and imaginative typography for use with a variety of audiences celebrating not only CRA’s 10th Anniversary as an Agency, but tipping a hat to the hundred years of history of the organization.

GCWCC Video

As chief “host” department for the Public Service’s annual charitable campaign, the CRA chose to leverage social media by asking donors to submit their reasons for caring, volunteering, and giving. The video also features a short “call to action” from Bill Baker, Commissioner of the CRA.

 

Deliverables

A series of videos in English and French for a variety of key internal and external communications projects, delivered in a variety of traditional and new formats and channels.

Challenge

With a key role as the nation’s tax collector, CRA presents complex needs for both inside and external audiences. Follow the left hand column to view a series of examples of recent work we have done for the Agency.
