Voice Biometrics Training
This Macromedia Flash on-line training course provided desktop training of Bell South employees in the use of secure, telephone-based, self-service password reset. |
Interactive On-line Macromedia Flash Training Tool. Bell South, a Fortune 100 communications company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is the United States’ largest wireless voice and data provider. The company identified a need for its employees to be able to cost-effectively reset their own passwords without having to contact the help desk for assistance.
This course has been created from an existing CDROM version into a web-based version using a blend between Macromedia Flash and Macromedia Director. Hyperactive created an on-line version of the self directed course to introduce voice biometrics and the enrolment and verification procedure. Voice biometrics works by digitizing all the unique qualities of a person's speech to produce a stored model voice print, rather like a template, which is referred to each time that person attempts to access secure data. An on-line tutorial featuring 100% computer-generated animations, which communicates concepts and procedures to professionals, instructs clearly and effectively while taking a variety of educational levels into account. This Internet version was designed to run efficiently from internal intranets and external extranets for 23,000 participants on both PCs and Macintosh systems, with sound capabilities. This on-line course allowed their user base - approximately 23,000 people who had no previous experience with OTG software - to easily navigate through the different lessons, learn via visual demonstration and successfully use their new OTG password reset product. |
