This module uses interviews from DART team members to explain what life on DART deployment is like, and members talk frankly about what they experience in disaster-stricken countries, and just how much it means to them as Canadians and as Canadian Forces members. DART - Medical Aid (fr)
From the laboratory to the triage unit, the DART medical team has full surgical, diagnostic, and treatment capabilities. This module shows how it all works, especially under challenging weather and geographic conditions. |
6 English and 6 French Videos, DVD, CDROM. The Canadian Forces are extremely proud of the accomplishments of the Disaster Assistance Response Team - and although the unit has been somewhat controversial, DND felt it critically important to show Canadians not only the competence but the flexibility, heart, and dedication of this group of 200 Canadian Forces specialists. In order to take advantage of broadcast opportunities on local stations from coast to coast, HyperActive developed a series of six short modules that DND could disseminate not only to broadcasters, but also on a variety of web environments and in public presentation settings. Working with DND's highly professional Combat Camera Unit, HyperActive wrote, edited, and produced six modules covering all aspects of the DART team's work, and delivered them as web-ready and broadcast-ready short video units. DND was delighted with this product, and immediately produced several hundred DVDs to be given to DART team members as a thank you for their involvement. The videos are being distributed to Canadian local broadcasters and cable stations for broadcast in English and in French. |
