Challenge

Help DNDs Attraction and Recruitment people with up-to-date High Definition videos describing a variety of Canadian Forces careers: research shows that there are far too many negative perceptions and myths about the Canadian Forces, and a need to reinforce the many benefits of this career choice.

Strategies

HyperActive presented Forces careers AND the Forces working and living environment in a highly attractive way, using real Forces members who talk with pride about their membership, but also about their lives and communities, whether that community be a ship or a Canadian Forces base.

Tools

18 short (7-minute) High Definition videos produced in English and in French, each "starring" an individual Canadian Forces member who narrates these fast-paced looks at a variety of careers. The videos are designed for use in a variety of settings including recruitment kiosks, job fairs, and on the Canadian Forces' recruiting website.

Results

These videos are now in circulation across Canada, and have spawned a new generation of recruiting videos, all using real Canadian Forces spokespersons to talk to their peers about careers in Canada's Forces.
